NyayWise (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the NyayWise website and mobile applications. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using NyayWise, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Information we collect
Account information: name, email address, phone number (optional), and password or authentication identifiers when you register or sign in.
Profile and usage data: how you use our tools, including legal chat messages, document inputs, generated outputs, subscription tier, and usage limits.
Payment and subscription data: plan type, billing cycle, purchase history, and subscription status. Payments on iOS are processed by Apple; we receive transaction and entitlement information through Apple and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Device and technical data: device type, operating system, app version, push notification tokens, IP address, browser type, and similar technical identifiers used for security, diagnostics, and service delivery.
Communications: messages you send to our support team, feedback submissions, and related correspondence.
How we use your information
To provide, operate, and improve NyayWise, including AI legal information tools, document generation, contract review, and subscription features.
To authenticate you, manage your account, process subscriptions, and enforce plan limits.
To send transactional communications (such as account, security, and subscription-related notices) and, where permitted, service announcements.
To deliver push notifications you have opted into on mobile devices.
To maintain security, prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
AI & document processing
Text and documents you submit may be processed by artificial intelligence systems to generate responses, drafts, summaries, and analyses.
We use third-party AI infrastructure providers to deliver these features. Content is transmitted securely for processing in order to provide the service you request.
We do not use your personal documents or chat content to train third-party AI models for general purposes without your consent.
Generated outputs may be stored in your account history so you can access them later, subject to your plan and retention settings.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate NyayWise, including with trusted service providers such as cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, push notification, payment/subscription (including Apple and RevenueCat), and AI processing partners.
These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services on our behalf and must protect it appropriately.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of NyayWise, our users, or others.
If NyayWise is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
Certain generated documents on free plans may be subject to limited retention periods as described in the product.
You may delete your account at any time. When you do, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or billing purposes.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a strong password and keep your login credentials confidential.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
You can update profile information in the app or on the web, manage notification permissions in your device settings, and manage App Store subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

Children
NyayWise is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International users
NyayWise is operated from India. If you access the service from other regions, your information may be processed in India and in locations where our service providers operate.
By using NyayWise, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
Material changes may also be communicated through the app, by email, or by other appropriate means. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
