Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legal agreement between you and NyayWise governing your access to and use of the NyayWise website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, downloading the app, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
For purposes of Apple App Store distribution, these Terms also serve as the End User License Agreement (EULA) between you and NyayWise for the iOS application.
Nature of the service — not legal advice
NyayWise provides AI-generated legal information for educational and informational purposes only. NyayWise is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
No attorney-client relationship is created by using the Service. Outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate for your specific situation.
Always consult a qualified legal professional before making legal decisions, signing documents, or initiating legal proceedings.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract to use NyayWise.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
Your account
You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You may sign in using email and password or supported third-party authentication providers (such as Google or Apple), subject to their terms as well.
You may delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
Subscriptions and billing
NyayWise offers free and paid subscription plans (such as NyayWise Plus and NyayWise Pro) with different features and usage limits as described in the app.
On iOS, paid subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID account through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies.
We may change subscription prices or features with notice where required by applicable law or platform rules. Price changes may take effect on your next renewal after notice.
If a subscription lapses or is canceled, your account may revert to a free plan and certain features or stored content may become unavailable according to plan rules.
Acceptable use
You may not use NyayWise for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security.
You may not misrepresent AI-generated content as professional legal advice or as output from a licensed attorney.
You may not upload content that infringes others’ rights or violates applicable law.
We may investigate violations and take action including suspension or termination.
Your content and our license
You retain ownership of content you submit to NyayWise, subject to rights of others.
You grant NyayWise a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service, including AI processing necessary to generate responses and documents for you.
AI-generated outputs are provided to you for your use, but NyayWise does not guarantee they are fit for any particular legal purpose.
Intellectual property
The Service, including software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by NyayWise or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
Third-party services
The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party providers (including Apple, Google, payment/subscription platforms, cloud infrastructure, and AI providers). Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies.
NyayWise is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NYAYWISE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO NYAYWISE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NyayWise from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
